About Maddy
My work sits at the meeting point of psychotherapy, embodiment, and creativity. I’m a psychotherapist specialising in Internal Family Systems (IFS), with a background in art therapy, yoga, and Qigong. Over the past few decades, I’ve come to see how true healing asks for both understanding and embodiment—how insight becomes transformation when it’s integrated through the body and lived experience.

I bring a grounded, compassionate approach to therapy, creating a space where people can meet the complexity of their inner world with curiosity and care. IFS provides a clear and respectful framework for this process, helping people to understand the different parts within them and to cultivate a steadier, more connected relationship with themselves.
My practice has been shaped by many years of study and personal practice in creative arts, movement, and contemplative traditions. These influences continue to inform how I listen, how I teach, and how I support others to access their own wisdom.
Alongside my therapy work, I facilitate retreats, classes, and small group programs that integrate body-based and creative practices. These offerings invite reflection, stillness, and the experience of coming home to oneself—beyond words, through breath, movement, and awareness.
Whether in a one-on-one session or a retreat setting, my intention is to create spaces that are professionally held, deeply attuned, and personally meaningful—places where people can reconnect with clarity, compassion, and a felt sense of wholeness.
